On friday and yesterday, majority of the things I did is projects. These are what happened on both days.
17/7/2009:
Deadline for submitting Comm skills project and POM project. Most reached school at 10 to print but because I have not finished my tutorial, I only reached at 10.30. WOW, everyone was busy printing their projects. Some are trying to correct their projects. A busy morning. Completed my comm skills project.
After tutorial ends at 1, some of the groups went down to print. Jerald's group borrowed my laptop to do some touch-ups for their POM project. The unlucky part comes. Our POM project folder was corrupted, which means we are unable to open it. We managed to open it in the end and went on editing. As time passed, only Allen's comm skills group and my POM group were left doing our projects. A few others stayed with us.
Jerald motivated my group. We finished our project at 3.15. Hui Qi and How Cher went down to print. When they came up, they said they could not open the file we just edited so they print out another file but that file had certain things we edited but were not there.
No choice so Thar Hwe and I went down to edit. We edited in the printing shop and got scolded by the owner. Lol. Damn stressful cos after we print, we realised that there were 17 pages in stead of the 15 page limit.
Went to library to edit. Went back to print and went up again. Of cos, there were still minor parts that we edited but were not there because all the correct things are in the corrupted file. Submitted at 4.40. 20 mins before the deadline. Missed econs lecture cos it is from 3 to 5 and it has already ended.
I also saw Pearlyn at the table behind the table we did our project. Also, beside her was my primary school friend. Finally there was one primary school schoolmate that recognises me cos the rest do not recognise me but I know them and their names. I see her and at one shot, told her her name. She was surprised I can still remember. Of course, I remember all of my Primary school friends name.
Went home feeling tired.
18/7/2009:
Woke up and did some powerpoint slides. Supposed to meet POM group again to finish filming our video. Reached and messaged Audrey cos we are borrowing the room she booked for her project. Went up and took 45 minutes instead of the 15 to 30 minutes we promised earlier.
After that, went to the project room beside cos it was empty. Found some errors and retook again. Finally, it was done. We heard lots of noise and commotion at the room next door cos Audrey's group filming. Can hear Min Hui laugh, Audrey and Jia Min's voice. Allen talking. Luck Koon and Wen Bin shouting. Took a phone call and went out of the room and saw Wen Bin and Luck Koon fought outside the room. Of cos that is filming. We split into 2 groups, How Cher, Bridget and Thar hwe edited the video while Michelle, Hui Qi and me did the presentation slides.
Library closed at 5 plus then we went down together with Audrey's group. We continue editing our video and presentation slides. Audrey's group left at around 6. We continue doing and did until at about 7.15, Hui Qi left. I left at 7.45. Thar Hwe left at 8 plus. Finally, How Cher, Michelle and Bridget finished at 10 plus. Must thank my group mates for their time and hard work.
