Please read my previous post before reading this post as it s linked together.
Today was biz stats class test. As usual, I was defeated by the word 'carelessness' again. 2nd time for 2 consecutive Fridays. Is it really bad Friday whenever there are tests? Nope, blame it on me carelessness.
Sorry for the jargon because I may use some biz stats terms which some of you may not understand.
All went well for parts 1a) to 1d). As for part e) I sensed a mistake once I finished the paper. Part e) was the last question by the way. Why did I sensed something wrong? That was because I got a probability of 0.3830 (38.3%) as my answer. Normally, it will be 90 plus percent all less than 10 percent. Weird answer. Cant figure why. It was after I handed out the paper when I realised my mistake.
Normally, we find standard error of mean from the standard deviation and substitute in the value to find the z-value. However, I carelessly substituted the standard deviation to find the z-value. Damn. This will cost me 2 to 3 marks or maybe 4 or 5 marks depending on how strict the marker is.
If only I was not careless, I will not make a mistake in substitution and also, made a mistake in the stock card for FA test. All this boils down to one word: Carless. Had to really change this bad habit or it will cost me more marks in the main examinations. :(

Had stomach cramps for two days...
From Tuesday night all the way till Thursday night, I seemed like having a nightmare, a very painful nightmare. From what I could remember, it was all pain and diarrhoea.
Tuesday night
Was doing basic calculus project online. Finished nearly past 12. Packed my stuff and watched a little TV. Then to bed. That was when I felt something weird in my stomach. The feeling of weirdness transformed into a little bit of pain a few minutes later. Managed to sleep even though stomach is in a little bit of pain.
Wednesday
Woke up still a little bit painful in the stomach. Was originally meeting Joseph at Compass before going to school together at 7.30. However, my dad fetched me to Compass and I reached at 7.10. Cant stand the pain in the stomach and almost fainted because of it. Text Joseph that I will be late and asked him to go to school by himself.
Rested at home and left at 8. Reached school on the dot at 9. That day only attended E-biz tutorial from 9 to 11. There was a 3 hours break from 11 to 2 before the next lesson. Met my classmates. They noticed I looked pale without me telling them. How Cher even bought panadol for me. Thanks how cher.
The rest went to the library after that. Only How Cher, Audrey and I sat at the benches outside lecture theatres because I will tremble in cold environment. Andrew came. Huiqi came at 1 plus. At the end, at 1.30, I cannot withstand the pain so I went back home. Audrey and Andrew escorted me to the bus stop and waited for the bus with me. Thanks guys.
Missed OB tutorial, OB lecture and E-biz lecture. Andrew texted me to inform me that our OB report got 84.5 marks. Ok good news. Cheered up and felt a little better.
Thursday
Got back FA project and class test. The score for FA project was 294 out of 320, which was 91 plus percent. As for class test, I already knew that I will not score as well as the others. This was because I did one of the entries in stock card wrongly. And also since it was using the weighted average method, the amount carried down is also wrong. Got 8 out of 17 marks because of my carelessness of not checking the source document wrongly and put both as purchase when i saw the word "purchase" in it. Stupid me.
Stomach not fully recovered till night. Had diarrhoea 7 times. You can imagine how bad the situation was.

Back to blogging...
Got back E-biz results like 2 weeks ago? Cant remember. When I got back, I did the same thing. Dun look at the result but flip through the answer booklet. 1st page was MCQ and to my horror, I scored 5 out of 10. 50% only. Then I continue flipping through and see ticks all the way. Got 1 question wrong and that question is only 1 mark. So I scored 39 out of 40. In total, 44 out of 50. Report scored a C.
Joseph good lor. His MCQ 1 error then his section B and C also got the 1 mark question wrong only so 48 out of 50. His report also win me.
To sum up, my results:

Saw many familiar faces recently for these 2 weeks. There was a funny incident. I saw Lynette. She saw me. Then she look at her poly friends and asked whether I am from PHSS. Of cos they dunno. I just nod my head and said yes then she said oh hi. Also met many others. Long time no see. I even met my Primary school friend on bus 27 and had a chat with him.
Just today, just met Nicholas. As in Nicholas Ng, not Lee or Ong. Talked to him as well. We had a very long conversation throughout the journey. We recollect our past. Still remembered that during secondary school days, both of us will be in school at 6.40, 1 hour before school starts and play chess all the way till reading period. Not bad, still remember a lot of stuffs.
Econs project presentation. 2nd group to present. When we got up, the first group had started presenting. Only 1 group can be in the classroom so the other 5 groups had to wait outside. 1st group came out. We went in. Somehow feel that the presentation can be improved. Anyway, all the best to my group, and to other groups as well. Then we went out, 3rd group went on and so on.
Just got to know that Lee Jia Ying is in crutches. Rest well sleep well. Heard that you got injured while sleepwalking. You must be under pressure. Wishing you a speedy recovery. (I dun think she will see this anyway)

Got most of my results back...
Just got back 5 out of 6 papers. The last paper, e-business will only be returned next week as it has not finished marking yet. This is what happened the past week from 2/1/2010 to 8/1/2010. Now I think I can only blog on weekends. Maybe sometimes during weekdays when I am free.
Monday
Doing 2 projects today. Went to school in the morning and had OB project at 9. I was the first to reach followed by Andrew, Thar Hwe, Luck Koon then How Cher. Started doing and we finished part A by noon. Part B was delegated among Luck koon, Andrew and How Cher, with each doing one article. As for me and Thar Hwe, we did Part A3, which was finished at noon.
Had lunch then went for lecture at 2. At 4, Thar Hwe, Min Hui, and Jia Min went to do bus stats project and finalising the survey. Jiong Zhen never came for lecture but came for the project. But when he arrived, we had completed. So he talked for a while and left. After that, Thar Hwe also left. The rest of us did Calculus tutorial. Bridget came. Also, Allen, Huiqi and Andrew also came.
Allen distributed his survey and collated with Huiqi. Then, Andrew printed some stuffs before we went to calculus lecture at 6. At 6.40, lecture ends. Waited for my dad to fetch me.
Tuesday
That morning, went early to print bus stats survey. Had planned with Huiqi and Min Hui to print together. At the last minute, Min Hui will only reach at 8.30 and Huiqi need to go to the library for a while. Reached at 8. Lab was just opened but the labs inside still locked. The person unlocked them one by one. Went to lab 11 and started printing. Then one by one, they came to the lab. So in the lab, there were Andrew, Huiqi, Venus, Min Hui, Jia Min, Wen Bin and Eldred. Eldred left first. Then Huiqi, Eldred and Andrew also left. How cher came and we went up together. Jia Min and Min Hui borrowed my econs cover page so as to type out their own.
Went up to econs room. Bridget and Fatima have not reached yet so we cannot bind the article analysis together. Fatima reached at 9 plus. However, Bridget have not reached at 9.30. Called her but she did not answer. Think she overslept.
At 10, she called me and said she just woke up. She took a taxi to school and reached at 10.20. We went down to meet her and binded the article analysis together and submitted it. Also, on the same lesson, the econs test paper was returned to us.
Wednesday
E-business in the morning. Never returned test paper and released the results. After that, had lunch with Joseph at Mensa and then he left school as he had no lessons throughout the day till 6 which is a 7 hours break.
I went to met up with some of my classmates. Then they had lunch and I went with them. OB lesson at 2. Paper was returned to us. No OB lecture that day so distributed the remaining survey. After that, did OB project till 6. Never went for e-business lecture as there is no end-sem test for that unless it is needed for our individual assignment. Bought dinner from business park.
On the bus, saw Yanling. Took a seat behind her. Projects was stressful. So was too tired and almost fell asleep on the bus. However, I cannot fall asleep as I will let go of the chicken chop I bought and it will drop. Hence, tried very hard to stay awake. Finally I reached my stop. Went down. Yanling also went down. Chatted for a while and we reached our blocks. She walked straight and I turned right. Tiring day.
Thursday
Got back basic calculus paper. Open house was really lifely.
Friday
Met up in the morning to do bus stats report. Andrew’s group was behind us. After a while, Allen’s group also came. Another group was at the other end of the library. Finished for the day. Then, we went separate ways to sign Allen’s birthday card. Audrey, Jerald, Wenbin, How Cher and Jia Min were at Bus park. Mabel was there? I forgot. Allen, Min Hui, Jiong Zhen, Thar Hwe, Andrew, Eldred, Luck Koon, Gan, Huiqi and I went to mensa. A few went to bus park to sign the card. The rest stayed with allen and had lunch. After they returned from bus park, Jiong Zhen, Thar Hwe, Andrew and I went to sign.
After that, we went to bus stats tutorial. Got back bus stats results. After that, celebrated Allen’s birthday in class. Realised my phone was spoilt. It cant send out messages and receive phone calls and messages and also cannot make phone calls. Went down for econs lecture and Jospeh had something to tell me when I went in. I think it has something to do with Nizar. He left halfway but he entered at the other door so I think Nizar is somewhere there. During break I went there and saw Nizar and Joseph. Switched of my phone and on again. Then it was working well again. Received 8 different messages and some were from the morning.
After lecture, Nizar, Joseph and I met Zhen Hua but he is waiting for his friend so we left first. At the bus stop, Zhen Hua came but he left with his friend. The 3 of us waited but all the buses were full. So we walked to the bus stop. At about 200 metres away from the stop, it started raining and it was getting heavier. So we ran to the stop. Saw my cousin on the bus.
Alighted the bus and walked home with my cousin. Not walked rather as he was skateboarding beside me.
At night, dad, bro and I wanted to watch Smackdown but it shows 11.30 on the guide. Watched other channels first and at 11.30 the tennis was still not finished. So watched a movie and at 1.40, tennis still not over yet. Went to sleep. Maybe watch replay telecast today at 1am.`

Went to Jia Ying’s house with the peeps. We were supposed to meet at 2 but I left my house at 2.15. Called Joseph to confirm what buses go to Jia Ying’s house. There were 80, 82, 87, 88, 89 and 119. I am at a spoilt for choice. 82 and 88 is near Rivervale, 80, 87 and 119 is at Compass and lastly, 89 is near my house. I chose 89 as it is the nearest. The next thing is should I go to the bus stop near Econ minimart or near Compassvale Primary School? Went to the bus stop opposite CVPS and in 10 minutes, I reached Jia Ying’s house.
Not the last to reach. Zhen Hua was later. Then we played badminton, basketball, cards, playground and a few more games we could think of.
Left at 5 plus. The rest going for dinner. I went to the bus stop and realised that all 6 buses at that bus stop are buses I can take. As I was walking, bus 88 came but I never run after. As I reached the stop, bus 87 came so I just took that bus.
Sunday
My brother and sister taking scholarship and bursary today. My bro is at 9 while my sis is at 12. During my sis award presentation, I saw Kuan Jie and Alaistair. Long time no see.

I did the killswitch and zack attack on my bro before. Now he is learning how to do a moonsault then shhoting star press and finally the most difficult starship pain.

2010...
This is the 5th post (inclusive of this post) I will be posting today. After New Year will be a very tough month as January is the submission of all core subject projects. Also, we need to get ready for the end-semester exam real soon as there are more things to study. Must look positively in a new year and I hope I can improve my GPA this time.
Year 2009 had ended. The following is the theme song and roster of RAW, Smackdown and ECW respectively. Smackdown is still my favourite followed by ECW then RAW. The whole roster of the brand are all shown in the videos.

New Year’s eve. Only have school for half a day. So it means that there is no CDS in the afternoon. Class photo taking in the afternoon. Funny thing is there was supposed to be a lecture group photo taking in the morning after FA lecture but when lessons ended, before our A&F seniors came in, some had rushed off already. Think it will be postponed? If not, cancelled.
FA tutorial comes immediately after FA lecture. But since the lecture ended 20 minutes early, we changed into our Secondary school uniform before the tutorial. Everybody looks different. Nice scene as it is rare to see so many different uniform at a time.
Had lessons and photo taking after that in the same room. Got back FA test and was surprised to get 37.5/50 for the paper when I thought I will fail. 1 target achieved. Was really nervous when tutor was handing out the papers. Photo taking after that. We arranged ourselves and got ready with the formal shot. There were 2 formal shots and Eldred and Gan was funny. They said do not smile for the first and smile for the second.
Then we took a lot (more than 30) of informal shots after the photographer finished taking. We used our own camera instead. I remembered a few shots. 1 Was carrying Eldred, a few was anyhow, then there was 1 we posed as Hitler.
Then we took groups and a camel photo was also taken. Nice and fun.
Went down to look for Joseph after that. He had been waiting for more than 2 hours. Zhen Hua left as he wants to go home and sleep (my guess). Joseph told me that Zhen Hua scored 98/100 for microecons and he slept for half an hour for that paper. Zhen Hua is a fast thinker so time is not a problem for him.
Went to Mcdonald’s in Compass to buy lunch. No Yee Hua. Left after that.
AT night, my family went to buy BBQ stuff after dinner. After finished watching ECW, at 11, my dad started BBQ-ing the food outside the house using a small pit we bought a few years ago. Nice and had lots of food and cant even finished the food. Then we drank 2 bottles of champagne. The sound of the cork when we opened is very loud.

New Year’s eve. Only have school for half a day. So it means that there is no CDS in the afternoon. Class photo taking in the afternoon. Funny thing is there was supposed to be a lecture group photo taking in the morning after FA lecture but when lessons ended, before our A&F seniors came in, some had rushed off already. Think it will be postponed? If not, cancelled.
FA tutorial comes immediately after FA lecture. But since the lecture ended 20 minutes early, we changed into our Secondary school uniform before the tutorial. Everybody looks different. Nice scene as it is rare to see so many different uniform at a time.
Had lessons and photo taking after that in the same room. Got back FA test and was surprised to get 37.5/50 for the paper when I thought I will fail. 1 target achieved. Was really nervous when tutor was handing out the papers. Photo taking after that. We arranged ourselves and got ready with the formal shot. There were 2 formal shots and Eldred and Gan was funny. They said do not smile for the first and smile for the second.

What happened that day was dramatic. Let me show you why.
This is what normally happens on a Wednesday morning. I will leave my house at 6.45 and my dad will send me to Compass Point. I will reach at 7 and wait for Joseph. Sometimes, they are distributing Today and My Paper so I will just read. Joseph will reach at 7.30 and we took a bus together. We normally reach at 8 plus. E-business tutorial starts at 9.
That is what happened that day. Everything was the same until the part at 8am. We reached school at 8 and went to the Lab straightaway. We will print the notes for lecture just like we normally does. Eh? Weird. Today no notes. Is online de. I went to check the timetable and realised there is nothing written for tutorial this week. Starting to feel that no tutorial today. At 8.57, one classmate came. 3 of us waited. Then 1 by 1, others came. Only 8 students came. 7 guys and a girl waited until 9.20. 1 of us called and tutor said no tutorial and lecture this week. ?!?!?!?!?!?! Wasted a morning. Went home as next lesson is at 2.
Lesson at 2. Then lecture. Lesson ends at 6. No E-business lecture so can go home. Was DAMN tired. Ask Joseph. I cant barely walk with my eyes open. I was walking in a sleepy state and almost fell asleep while walking Have to thank Joseph for helping me to keep awake. While waiting for bus, I fell asleep and he woke me up when the bus came.

Meeting my FA group to submit project. At around 3 I think. Left my house at 2 and walked to Compass to take bus. As I reached Sculpture Park (the bigger one), I saw someone familiar behind me. I turned around and saw Wilson. We chatted and walked to Compass together. He told me he going to work in a 7-11 at Woodbridge (I forgot the place). Then went to school after that. Reached school at 3.30 but my group had submitted the project as Allen had things on. So i Did Basic Calculus tutorial and looked for my classmates after that. Then we stoned until 6 for Basic Calculus lecture. In the lecture, the lecturer went through the paper with us. Most of the answer is the same as my answer. Hope to score well. Will be getting back paper next week as basic calculus is cancelled due to new year’s eve.

Time for an update. Have not been updating for the past 10 days so I will blog in separate posts on the past 10 days.
21/12/2009 (Monday)
That day I have work. My father needs my mum and I to help out in his work. So in the morning at 7.30, we set off for Seagate. There is one more person so that makes 4 of us. We were required to remove 2 plastic straps from a metal rack.
There were 5 screws that were screwed into the plastic strap at the bottom and 9 screws that were screwed onto the plastic strap on the top. We were required to take out the 2 straps. At first, we removed the screws manually and when they brought down the machine used for screwing, everything sped up. After about 20, we started to put in new plastic strap at the top and bottom and crew the 9 screws at the top and 5 screws at the bottom back in.
We continued this cycle. Lunch at 12. Tea break at 3. We knocked off at 7. We completed about 80 of the racks. Tired and exhausted when I returned home.

I cannot go to work today as I have FA project. So, went to school at 2 plus and was late as I had to cook lunch for my siblings beforehand. But I informed Andrew at 12. Reached at 3.30 and we started doing Part 2. Allen and Jazlyn cannot make it. Allen had done out Part 2 and we just checked and fill in the rest of the tables. Everything went well. Project completed. Yeah!

Went to play badminton with 1A06. Only 8 were present (Allen, Andrew, Jerald, Huiqi, Min Hui, Mabel, Audrey and me). We played for more than four hours. I had good chemistry with Andrew when we paired up. They gave me a nickname “Agent MX”. Played and played. Allen and Min Hui left at 1 plus. At 2 plus, we stopped playing.
The girls went to buy tickets for Avatar for those who will be going to the movies later. Jerald, Andrew and I went down to eat McDonald. We chatted. After that, I went home.

Merry Christmas! Woke up in the morning feeling achy all over due to badminton the previous day. My whole right arm was aching. Stomach muscle also cramp. Thighs and legs felt achy all over as well. Butt also ache a lot. Difficult to sit down. Need to use strength to pull myself up and down. Funny.

That day, my secondary schoolmates went out for a Christmas gathering. I cannot make it as my projects are not yet completed. Received e-mail from my Bus Stats tutor saying that our survey is not good enough. So, we met up at 11 and discussed. After altering the survey, the 4 of us (Jiong Zhen is overseas so he cannot make it), Thar Hwe, Min Hui, Jia Min and I did the survey, filled in the tables and did out the regression. E-mailed the tutor and waited for his reply.
