New year was not bad. At least still have some time to rest.
New Year eve:
Had a tiring day cos I cleaned 5 doors and helped my father washed his cars. My parents were cleaning the windows while my brother is decorating the house and packing red packets. Sister was busy doing homework cos she had loads of homework.
That evening went to My dad’s brother house for reunion dinner. As usual, got 1 of my relatives will find something to compare about either me, sis or bro. This year, her son finally became taller than me and so, she compared height. What the?
1st day of New Year:
Went to visit grandparents from maternal side in the morning then paternal side in the afternoon. Dad played mahjong and won. We watched Avatar as my cousins were playing it. Steamboat for dinner. Nice.
Then went to dad’s friend house. Watched Transformers there. Lol.
2nd day of New Year:
Normally when I was still a kid, on this day, the whole family will follow dad’s lion dance troupe the whole day so we will have 10 plus lion dance and dragon dance to watch. However, a few years ago, we only went for 1 cos that is the chairman’s house.
After that, went to uncle’s house (dad’s big brother). The lion dance troupe will also be going to his house. So get to watch the performance the 2nd time.
Steamboat for dinner again. Also invited dad’s 3rd brother along. Just now when we were in dad’s big brother house, my dad, his big brother and 3rd brother said many funny things.
Went to dad’s sister house with dad’s 3rd brother. End of the day.
3rd day of New Year:
Watched a lot of mahjong movies. Played mahjong with family (except sister) in the afternoon. We started with 100 chips. At the end of the game, my brother had 186 chips, my dad had 117 chips, my mum had 87 chips and I have 10 chips left. Lol. Lost 90% of it. There is a Chinese proverb saying you will lose 9 out of 10 games. This is a good example.
Went to the Hongbao river (name was something like that). Had fun. Reached home at 11 plus as siblings have school the next day while dad had work the next day.
All in all, nice festival.
Ezekiel Jackson defeated Christian and became the final ECW champion in the last episode, last match of ECW. That match was extrme rules with Zack Ryder, followed by Rosa Mendes, followed by Tiffany, followed by William Regal interfering.
