On Deepavali, which was October 17, we decided to have fun at Escape . Went there and reached at 11 plus and it was rather crowded We purchased the tickets and I thought it will be 80 plus dollars but it is 60 plus dollars. We were informed that Rainbow and Flipper were under maintenance on that day.
Went in and went to haunted house first. I am the first in line followed by Jie Ling, Ming Xu, mum and dad. Apparently, Jie Ling was scared out of her wits as she kept grabbing my arm tightly. She said when she went in with her friends, they will chiong and not walk slowly. Then we played Viking. My brother almost vomited but he got used to it.
Then we played alot of things and had lunch in burger king. After lunch, we started playing water games and got wet all the way. Wet and wild was fun. Got soaked throughout.
Saw Hui Wen and Hui Min but they never see me even though I was standing in front of them and they were looking at me. They were wearing 4E1 class t-shirt though.
There were 4 funny incidents I could recall.
1) There was a girl in her twenties who will go OMG, OMG on every ride. On Viking, before it starts moving, she said OMG, OMG softly. When it started, she said OMG, OMG and when it was at the fullest speed, she screamed OMG, OMG. Lol. Afterwards, we saw her playing roller coaster and again, heard OMG, OMG.
2) There were a few Temasek Poly guys as their shirts showed TP. When they were playing Viking, they were shouting this when the ship was swaying. “TP OI! (Oi!)! TP OI! (Oi!)! TP OI! (Sup Sup Oi!)!” When the ship stopped , they showed the stop action, saying they were uneasy and wanted to stop when the ship is already stopped. The person-in-charge never looked at them. Lol.
3) At Wet and Wild. There were 4 people. The first 2 do not want to play as they do not want to get wet. So, after much persuasion by the other 2, they went in. The other 2 went into the 2nd boat. The 1st boat went down the 15m slope and they were soaked. So when the 2nd boat came down soon after, they turned back and said “KNN! You said we wont get wet but now we are soaked.” Another lol thing.
4) There was a guy with his girlfriend at Wet and Wild. When their boat got to the 15m slope, the guy put his hands up in the air and shouted “I LOVE ...” That should be the name of his girlfriend which I could not hear properly. Afterwards, the boat plunge down and as the guy was not holding onto anything, he was like falling out as it was going down and when it reached the bottom, he was thrown off his seat as he was already standing. Although it was a close shave, it looked funny as laughter could be heard.
Had dinner near wild wild wet and went home. All in all, a fun day.
